Announcing PhotoOp 20! 

The Wasatch Camera Club is pleased to announce PhotoOp 20, featuring Michael Clark and Stephen Johnson, two recognized experts in landscape photography. 

Stephen Johnson, based in Pacifica, CA, concentrates on landscape projects exploring wild, endangered spaces and human-altered lands, making images that depict a respect for the land and a real-world celebration of our relationship to nature. He is known for his photographic craft and for his dedication to making fine prints, excelling at sharing his knowledge and passion for photography. He is the creator of touring exhibitions, five books, three portfolios and has been teaching photography since 1978.

Michael Clark, a former physicist based in Santa Fe, NM, is an internationally published outdoor photographer specializing in adventure sports, travel and landscape photography. He also is a commercial photographer and works with many prestigious clients such as Apple, Nike, Fujifilm, Red Bull, Microsoft, Adobe, National Geographic and Outdoor Photographer. He has been featured in Digital Photo Pro, Outdoor Photographer, Nikon World Magazine, Digital Photographer, Rangefinder Magazine and New Mexico Magazine for his work with extreme sports. Digital Photo Pro proclaimed Michael a "Master of Adventure" Photography in their 2011 Masters issue.

The event is open to all, but tickets are required. Tickets may be purchased here. PhotoOp 20 is sponsored by SLC retailer Pictureline and by camera manufacturers Fujifilm and Canon. The event will take place on Saturday, March 7 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Campus, 9750 S. 300 West, Sandy, Utah.
