THE JOY OF PRINTING

Registration is closed as the class is full.

VENUE CHANGE- the Salt Lake City Library is closed, so we will be meeting at pictureline. Thank you to Jens and pictureline for saving the day.

Discover that magical moment when you touch and see your own beautiful art in your hands. Posting beautiful images online is a nice feeling, but actually holding a physical print or seeing it hanging on a wall gives a completely different type of satisfaction. It’s not until the image is printed, finished and hung on a wall that the entire process is finished.

Making a good print isn’t always as straightforward and simple as you would think. All of us have had experiences where the printed image doesn’t look nearly as good as it does on the computer or in our vision. There are many reasons why our images don’t look as good when printed, but generally is because we haven’t prepared the image properly for printing.

Randy Collier will teach the ten vital steps to help insure your finished images are exactly the way you envision them! Print it yourself or you have your favorite lab print it for you. Following this simple 10 step check-list will help insure your printed image will look just as good as the digital version.

Revel in the magic of seeing an image that you have created go from conception to hanging on the wall.

When: February 2 at 6:30 PM

Where: Salt Lake City Library- this is an in-person class only

Cost: $28

This class is for members only. Please register soon as there is a limit to the number of participants.
