The Natural History Museum of Utah announces that the keynote speaker of NHMU’s 2026 Lecture Series is Anand Varma, the acclaimed biologist-turned-photographer, National Geographic Explorer, and the genius behind the storytelling studio WonderLab. His name might ring a bell as one of his images was recently the cover of Nat Geo’s 2025 Pictures of the Year.
Anand’s keynote presentation will take place on April 21 at 7 p.m. at Kingsbury Hall on the campus of the University of Utah. It’ll be an inspiring evening blending videography, photography, and science and should be of interest to armchair biologists and photographers alike.
