Beautiful Fall Foliage in Colorado's San Juan Mountains

Registration is closed for this event
This members-only event will capture the spectacular fall colors of the San Juan Mountains.

Surrounded by 14,000-foot peaks in the San Juan mountain range, Ouray, Colorado, is known as the “Switzerland of America.” In addition to the charming historic downtown, the many lakes and mountain peaks will provide ample photographic opportunity!  Just an easy day's drive from Salt Lake, so why not join us?

This multiday trip will be guided by club members Paul and Marie Hodges, who have lived in the southern Colorado area for many years.  They know all the great places for magical photography, and are very willing to share their local knowledge.  You'll see spectacular golden aspens against clear blue skies.  At this time of year, there is always the possibility of a dusting of snow on the mountaintops!  The Ouray area is full of historic mining sites, and quaint locally-owned shops.  There is plenty to do and see, but especially during peak foliage season!

The club has reserved a block of rooms that can only be held through June 30, due to high demand.  Upon registration, the motel information will be emailed to you. Motel rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis.
