Sage Mountain Resort Golden Hour Farm Animal Rescue Shoot

PC Credit : Website Photo: If you missed the horse rescue shoot then you have this opportunity to visit Sage Mountain . They have a mission as well and if this interests you I promise you won’t be disappointed by the landscape and scenery. You don’t have to agree with their mission to attend and as always I encourage our members to stretch and get out of the box if possible with your photography.  After previewing the site and visiting with the animals I decided this is another great opportunity for our members to shoot something different than they normally would. We are aiming for the golden hour on this one, and it is the time of day for animals to be on the hillside so it should provide us with some interesting angles and opportunities. Sage Mountain is a 501(c3) non-profit organization that provides a sanctuary for farmed animals and advocates for their well-being. These animals include pigs, cows, chickens, goats, and sheep. Located 10 miles from Park City, UT, we offer guided tours of the sanctuary, yoga, and invite volunteers to participate during their weekly group volunteer day Saturdays. They have agreed to host our group and explain their mission and why they do what they do for these types of animals. For more info you can go to their website at : Dress for mud or dirt on the ground Bring a vehicle capable of driving on slight gravel hillside. The sanctuary sits up on a mesa. Address is given at time of registration per the request of the sanctuary to protect the animals and their wellbeing. Any questions can be directed to Dawn Griffith .
