Mary Whitesides is one of the founding members of the Sundance Catalog Co. She was the stylist and an art director for all the photo shoots on the catalog for 10 years.
Aid to Artisans has sent her around the world with new designs for economically challenged artisans to help them find sustainable markets. While in country, she photo-documented all projects and artisans for special reports.
Additionally, Whitesides is the author and art director of: Mountain Style, Desert Style, Wicker Design Wine Country – Architecture and Interiors and Mediterranean Design – Architecture and Interiors. Many of her photographs appear in each book.
