Get ready for a creative twist on a classic scavenger hunt. Each participant will be assigned a single color — and your mission is simple: photograph objects, scenes, or details that feature only your assigned color.
How It Works
- 1. Receive Your Color: At the start of the event, each person will be randomly assigned a color.
- 2. Go Explore: You’ll have a set amount of time to wander, observe, and photograph anything that fits your color theme.
- 3. Stay Monochromatic: Your photos should focus on your assigned color as the dominant (or only) hue. Think creatively — textures, patterns, shadows, and unexpected finds all count.
- 4. Submit Your Best Shots: At the end, choose your top 3 photos to share with the group and you can select all of your favorites for the gallery as well.
- 5. Celebrate the Spectrum: We’ll gather to view everyone’s images and appreciate how differently we each see the world through a single color.
- The event will be held at Trolley Square.
- Upon registration you will be given the exact location to meet.
Tips for Success
- Look for unusual angles or close-ups to highlight your color.
- Don’t rush — the best finds often appear when you slow down.
- Think beyond objects: light, reflections, and natural elements can be great subjects.
