Everything Lightroom. One day. Zero confusion.
If Lightroom feels overwhelming, this hands-on workshop turns it into a clear, powerful, and creative tool you’ll actually enjoy using. Learn how to import, organize, edit, and export your photos with confidence using a real-world workflow that finally makes sense.
Lightroom is the engine room of modern photography, but for many photographers it feels more like a puzzle box than a power tool. In this full-day, hands-on workshop, we’ll turn Lightroom into something approachable, logical, and genuinely fun to use.
Designed for beginners and novice users, this class walks step by step through everything Lightroom—from importing and organizing your photos to editing with confidence and exporting images you’re proud to share. No guesswork, no jargon overload, and no racing through features without context.
This workshop is taught by Randy Collier, a professional photographer and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom expert with over 40 years of full-time experience in the photographic industry. Randy has worked with Adobe tools since the very beginning and is known for his clear explanations, practical workflows, and ability to make complex tools feel simple and intuitive.
By the end of the day, Lightroom will feel less like software and more like a trusted assistant—helping you stay organized, edit efficiently, and spend more time creating instead of clicking.
**This workshop will be held on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM at the Ruth Vine Tyler Library at 8041S Wood Street in Midvale. The cost is $119 and includes lunch. Class size is limited; there will be a waitlist option.
