The popular WCC Utah Travels photo exhibit returns to the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in June! This biannual exhibit, hosted in conjunction with West Valley Arts, showcases travel images captured by club members from excursions near and far. Images may be of destinations thousands of miles away or a few miles from home should reflect the global richness and diversity of people, events, nature, culture. The exhibit opens June 4 with a reception that evening and runs until July 8. Registration and entry submission will open April 1 and close on April 30.
- When you register, you may upload up to 3 image files in JPEG format only.
- You must use the required file naming protocol: LastName_FirstName_ImageTitle.jpg. If files are submitted without the proper naming protocol they will be sent back. Please also keep the file size below 5MB. Note that the filename is not the same as the image title!
- Do not submit entries from prior Utah Travels exhibits.
- There is no fee to submit your photographs, however there is a $15 per person participation fee if you are selected to be in the show (paid to West Valley Arts). Cash prizes will be awarded along with special recognitions.
- If your image(s) is accepted into the show you will be asked to provide location, year the photograph was taken and to write a short paragraph about the image to help tell the story of the image. This could be descriptive or emotional or even technique-related.
